God's Treasure

“You are our glory and our joy! - I Thess. 2:20

God’s treasure is not a chest of gold and silver, but people, who are of inestimable value. Humankind uniquely designed and created for partnership with Him (B'raysheet 1:26). The redeemed ones, washed with the Lamb’s blood, out of every nation, tribe, people and language (Rev. 7:9, 14). “They will be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “on the day when I compose My own special treasure” סגלה - prized and protected possession (Mal. 3:17).

Here at Kol Dodi - our congregation plant in Nashville - God is sending jewels of all ages from many backgrounds and locations. And if the jewel is in the rough, how much more a privilege to be given the task of partnering with the Lord to fashion it into a shining one! “For we are His masterpiece - poem (ποιημα), created in Messiah Yeshua for good actions, which God prepared long ago to be our way of life” (Eph. 2:10).
Its one tiny moment in time
For life to shine, to shine
Burn away the darkness

You’ve got one tiny moment in time
For life to shine, to shine
To burn away the darkness

I will be light
I will be light
I will be light

Regarding David Wilkerson's Recent Prophecy

“Now brethren, concerning the coming of Adoneynu Yeshua Mashiach (our Lord Jesus, Messiah) ... we ask you not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter ...” - 2 Thess. 2:1-2

Some may have found themselves frightened or unsettled by David Wilkerson’s recent prophecy. Some may have scoffed at it. Others have moved into panic mode.

We are certainly entering difficult times (2 Tim.3:1) nationally & globally. While I have not yet run to Walmart, I believe the time is short (I Cor.7:20) and we need to stay close to the Lord in His will - hearing His voice.

Being moved out of complacency and recognizing the importance of redeeming the time is always good (Eph.5:16), but let us remember that the wisdom from above is first pure, peaceable, and gentle (Js.3:17).

So don't strive - or panic. Let the Lord be your fear (controlling focus and influence) - not anything else - and He will be your Sanctuary (Is.8:13).
